Welcome to the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for a Digital and Sustainable Transition (IEEE AIDIST2026)

October 29–31, 2026 – Tunis (Gammarth), Tunisia

Organized within the framework of the 5th edition of the International Citizen Forum on Education and Interdisciplinary Research (FCIERI), the International Conference AIDIST 2026 is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS). This conference provides a space for exchange, reflection, and mobilization around the major challenges linked to Artificial Intelligence and its role in driving a digital and sustainable transition.

AI, a major catalyst of 21st-century transformation, opens new horizons across industry, education, healthcare, the environment, and many other sectors. This conference brings together diverse expertise, researchers, and practitioners to explore how AI can contribute to innovative, responsible, and sustainable solutions addressing the scientific, ethical, social, and environmental challenges of our time.

The event fully embraces an international cooperation approach, highlighting the complementarity of knowledge and experiences, and promoting ethical and inclusive strategies for building a digital, sustainable, and equitable society.

Submission Guidelines

The IEEE AIDIST 2026 conference invites submissions of original and innovative research in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Researchers, practitioners, and domain experts are encouraged to contribute scientific papers that offer clear and substantial advancements in AI theory, methodology, or applications across strategic sectors. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

Submissions are accepted in two distinct formats:

Long papers :

• Articles presenting successful theoretical or practical research,supported by substantial results and in-depth analysis.
  Survey papers synthesizing and critically analyzing the current state of knowledge in a specific area are also welcome.
  Selected long papers will be presented orally at the conference.

Short papers :

• Papers describing work in progress, preliminary studies, or partial results.
  Selected short papers will be presented through brief oral presentations and featured as posters during a dedicated session.

Tracks of submissions :

Contributions must align with at least one of the five thematic axes of the IEEE AIDIST 2026 conference and demonstrate clear technical, scientific, or applicative innovation:

• Track 1: AI as a Catalyst for Ecological Resilience
• Track 2: AI and Healthcare
• Track 3: Citizenship and Ethics in the Era of AI
• Track 4: AI in Industry and Services
• Track 5:Theoretical and Methodological Aspects of AI
